I'm kinda in a blogging rut, if you can call it that. Last week we had so much happen that this week is kind of well, not that interesting.
I am working on our bathroom. We have gutted it and yesterday I put two coats of primer on the green walls, so that I can paint it, probably tomorrow. When I get the finished product done I will take a picture. I was too embarassed to take a before picture because our bathroom looked so bad. We had a leak under the toilet that ruined the subfloor, vanity, etc. So you'll just have to wait to see the finished product, should be done by next Monday or Tuesday. I'm having my relicensing homestudy Wednesday, so it has to be done by then!
We have Ethan, Sadie and Trent all in soccer this year and they are real go getters. Sadie and Ethan have both scored a goal so far! They run their little hearts out. Trevor and Caleb are coaching Trent's team and last week they won 6-0, so they must be doing something right and that was just their first game!
Jeremy and Suzy left for Tennessee Monday afternoon, they called last night and were in Independence, Missouri! I have to admit I was kind of preoccupied watching American Idol, because it was David Archuleta's turn and he is my favorite, so I had to cut the conversation short, sorry! Okay, Britt, I did have to mention American Idol, just this once.

Natalie, Emily and Miranda
Last night Jeremy and Suzette announced that they are actually selling their house and going to really move to Nashville! Needless to say, I have been emotional (surprise). I just can't imagine them not being here for everything we always do! This will now make 1/2 of our 8 grandchildren out of state and not just in Colorado or Wyoming or something close! Tennessee and Georgia, come on guys you're killing me! We had already planned to get pictures taken today, so this was even more meaningful for me. Aren't they just beautiful?

Jerry's knee!
I hope this doesn't gross anyone out, but this is what happened when the steering column collided with his knee!

This isn't the best picture, but it shows what McCall looked like when she had her gait lab done!
We tried to make a big deal of how she looked liked she was an alien! It's been five weeks and we still don't have the results back. Shriner's hospital is so slow!

The light at the end of the tunnel
I'm so ready for Spring! I love Spring and Summer so much, sometimes its all I can do to make it through the Winter, but its great knowing that "after the storm comes the rainbow". Its what helps to get me through.
Guess life is pretty much like that, Storms, snow, lightening, thunder and then a light at the end of the tunnel, some sunshine, flowers, green grass, birds singing and new baby animals, the things that help give us a lift. So grateful for good times, good friends, family that helps get us through the hard times. I'm especially grateful for the Gospel, my Saviour, prayer, faith and hope that helps me know that the difficult times will be for only a moment.

I'm not taking pictures of today's weather, but you might guess, it has snowed yet again!
McCall copped an "attitude" about going to school, which isn't unusual these days, but I was bound and determined not to let her "win". Finally between Whitney and myself we convinced her that she could either walk into the school or be carried like a baby, but that it was her responsibility to go to school. Needless to say, I ended up carrying her in. She screamed and kicked, yep, just like a baby! It was exhausting, she's not so little anymore. Good luck, school!
Just another day in the life of the Pace family. Sorry no pictures to go with this blog either, it would be just too ugly I'm afraid. Well I hope the rest of you have a better day than I'm having!

McCall and her keyboard
McCall got this keyboard for Christmas and has loved playing it. So I decided to write the notes on the keys and wrote out the Happy Birthday song for her. She came to me and told me she had ripped up the paper, because she had it memorized! It's been so good for her to have something that she can do and enjoy.

I'm so proud of myself!
Okay, as most of you know, my computer skills leave a little something to be desired, so when I was finally able to figure out how to download a new template, I was sooo excited! See you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Not that I'll ever be able to do it again, but once is better than never.
Britt is always trying to get me to post new "stuff", but frankly my life is just not as exciting as hers! I mean tornados every week or so, I just can't compete with that!
I have joined Creative Memories, as a consultant, not that I'll ever sell anything, but I am learning all about digital scrapbooking and that is a lot of fun. I'm already spending more time on the computer than I should be. It took me two days to get three loads of laundry done!
