Various pictures of Brinley who turns 3 this Wed! Happy Birthday, Brin!

Just a little bun in the oven, sorry Ali, I know you'll hate this picture!

It's hard to believe my little "Brin Muffin", "Muffy", "Pumpkin in a Pie" is turning 3 already! She has the cutest little voice and always has a quick hug for everyone! Love you, Muffy! Before we know it she'll be turning 13!

Trevor and Whitney's new place

Love this dolphin toilet seat, will be the first of many things to go!

This is the master bedroom. All the carpet has been pulled up and laminate hardwood floors have taken its place. It looks really nice and it will be a great brand new place to move into. I believe these condos were built in the 80's.

The kitchen will have to wait until later, but one wall has been removed to open things up a bit.
Thanks to Adam for his expertise in demolition and repair work. Trevor has been learning a lot of new skills and I'm extremely impressed that he has become a lot more like his Dad and can fix more than he probably thought possible. Way to go, Trev!

These are a few "before" pictures of the condo Trevor and Whitney have purchased.
We have been working, pretty much nonstop, painting, laying flooring, etc. trying to get it
ready for them to move in. It's coming along and I'll post the "after" pictures when we get done!

1st day of school, again!

Sadie and McCall are in the 3rd grade now and Ethan has started the 1st grade!

A sobering lesson

This is a picture of Ali, her back to the camera. This plane crash occured at Bear Lake on Saturday morning and Ali and her friend Donny, standing next to her, were of the first on the scene to witness this horrible crash in which two people were killed. To read her eye witness account you can go to her blog. I was so sad that my daughter had to experience something so terrible, but also very grateful that her husband, father and three brothers could give her a priesthood blessing to help cope with the trauma of such an experience.

My friend Michelle

This is my friend, Michelle Conklin. We have been friends for 32 years, we were pregnant with our first babies at the same time, infact we had them 2 days apart. We were able to spend 12 days together as her daughter, Liz, was here for EFY. We hadn't seen each other for 17yrs. so we had a lot of catching up to do. Unfortunately while she was here, her camera got lost and Liz's scriptures as well, so I don't have hardly any pictures. I should have been taking them with my camera too! Teaches you to have a backup, huh? Anyway we had a great time and I enjoyed getting to know Liz. All of the kids have a new bff!

Quite the surprise!

Last Monday night we were having family home evening, minding our own business, singing away like we always do, when I looked up in my hallway entrance and saw this beautiful family standing there! I wasn't expecting them home until September, so all I could say was "OH, my gosh, Oh my gosh!" What a cool surprise for me! Needless to say that pretty much stopped the whole family home evening lesson, but what a great way to end family night!

Hailey Ann Madsen arrives a bit early! 7 1/2 weeks to be exact!

My nephew, Jason and his wife Becki have had their 6th child, a little girl, to even up the score, 3 boys and 3 girls! She was born c-section and early, but weighed 4 lbs 3 0z, her lungs are not quite developed, so she has been intubated, actually she's pretty good sized for that early. Cute little princess, huh?
