My new bathroom! I love it!

Thanks to Adam for his work on our floor, he did an expert job on it and saved us tons of money.

Jerry installed the vanity and hardware and will be finishing the mirror today. I painted it and added the woman's touch, you know the towels, decorations, etc. Go Me!!!

Personally I think that Colleen and I probably make better, but we did have to try it! I had the sourcream raisin, I don't think anyone else had in months, it tasted pretty, well, fermented.

We had a tea party!

Yes, we are in our pajamas and are having a "tea" party, well actually, hot chocolate, but you get the idea. We had antique teacups and saucers that Colleen bought each of us and were wearing straw hats that Sheila provided. We read poetry (I did badly on that part).

We had a great time, as usual, enjoying each others company, laughing until our faces hurt, complaining about all of our aches and pains and mostly just being together.

My Dad is turning 75 on the 15th of May, so my sisters, my Mom and I are driving to Redlodge, Montana to celebrate with him! We'll post some birthday pictures when I get back.

These are my Mother's Day Gifts

Although gifts are not the most important thing, I really appreciate the fact that my kids put a lot of thought into the gifts they give me. Everyone is different and they all know me a little differently. Thank you everyone, Trevor, I'm still waiting for at least a hug!

Vicky and Myra

These two girls were in my friend, Kris' home about 5 years ago, they have been adopted in separate homes, but are able to maintain a relationship, Vicky is now almost 17 and Myra is 12!
They both seem so happy! We saw them at the Foster Care picnic last night. Well worth going to.

Caleb was outside in the rain and Rylee was watching him, I think this is adorable, but mostly you can tell how much he loves this little girl.

Best friends, or is it "only" friend?

This is my best friend, Kris, she and I have done shelter, foster for nine years together. Infact that's where we met. We have a lot of fun together and most of our kids are the same age. Except for the newest little Weeks and there won't be a Pace that age, sorry, Kris. We are best friends, but sometimes we just have to draw the line! Our kids tease us about the fact that we are each other's only friend, but I wouldn't care if that was true, because she really is my best friend.

Our bathroom has needed a major overall for many years, it's over 30 years old! This is a lovely picture of Adam laying the tile, mostly a picture of Adam's butt, but you get the idea!
