Quite the surprise!

Last Monday night we were having family home evening, minding our own business, singing away like we always do, when I looked up in my hallway entrance and saw this beautiful family standing there! I wasn't expecting them home until September, so all I could say was "OH, my gosh, Oh my gosh!" What a cool surprise for me! Needless to say that pretty much stopped the whole family home evening lesson, but what a great way to end family night!

Hailey Ann Madsen arrives a bit early! 7 1/2 weeks to be exact!

My nephew, Jason and his wife Becki have had their 6th child, a little girl, to even up the score, 3 boys and 3 girls! She was born c-section and early, but weighed 4 lbs 3 0z, her lungs are not quite developed, so she has been intubated, actually she's pretty good sized for that early. Cute little princess, huh?

The finished garage! I'm so happy to have it done!

It's done and I'm so happy! We're still working on putting things away, but its getting there!

Sadie's Baptism

Adam baptized Sadie and everything was just perfect!

The latest project! We're finally getting our garage finished. After living in this house for 21 yrs! Better late than never?

We added an attic ladder access. Much better than climbing the rafters, safer too!

Who are these white trash people? Oh, yeah, it's us!!!

Ali's husband, Gerrit and his crew are making progress, a few minor delays, like getting the wire cut to the sprinklers, meaning for the past four days I've been dragging the hose around trying to keep my grass green and flowers happy! Oh, well, gotta have a few hitches. It's going to be so nice! And I'll be our neighbors will be glad not to see our crap all over the driveway anymore as well!

My new look!

Since everyone's posting their new haircuts, thought I should show mine as well. I also lightened my hair. I like it short, especially for the summer!

Did you realize?

These are the things I do every day! I figured out that probably since I was about 13yrs old, that's 40 yrs ago, I know, I'm old! I have been making my bed, putting on makeup and doing my hair every day, that's 14,600 times!!! Some days I would say I do my hair more than once, makeup sometimes more as well, but that's a lot of times! Just thought you might all want to know.
